Crucible offers two grades of stainless steel foil wrap for use in preventing surface decarburization of tools or other metal products during heat treatment in furnaces not equipped with atmosphere controls. The selection of foil type is determinded by the operating temperature as indicated below:

Crucible Stainless Steel Foils are shipped from the Milwaukee Service Center in convenient cardboard dispenser cartons.
