Drill Rod and Precision Ground Flat Stock eliminate any preliminary grinding prior to beginning the toolmaking process. Similarly. pre-hardened Readi-Blanks™ can go right to the EDM for machining small punches and tools. Crucible’s Tool Bits are hardened and precision finished, ready for sharpening. CRU-CLAD™ components are semi-finished, bi-metallic HIP-clad custom parts. Offered in various shapes and several combinations of two diverse materials, they are clad with Crucible’s high-performance CPM alloys on the inside, the outside, or in specific areas, depending on the application. Crucible also offers stainless steel foil for use as protective wrapping for tools or parts during heat treatment. | |||||
